Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has taken oath at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Nineteen other Cabinet ministers have also been sworn-in by President Pratibha Patil. Manmohan Singh is the first PM since Jawaharlal Nehru to hold consecutive term in office.
